A Breakdown of the Issues

PARKING
Problem: The parking fees have steadily increased while parking spaces have steadily decreased.
Solutions:
Establish an oversight committee to investigate the parking problems.
Stabilize and decrease parking permit fees by restructuring the budget, and bringing in outside funding through advertising/naming rights.

The Bookstore
Problem: The UCCS Bookstore is under stocked, and way over priced.
Solutions:
Create an investigative oversight committee that will provide feasible solutions.
Work with the Bookstore to decrease their exorbitant prices, and late arrivals.

Campus Events
Problem: Campus life at UCCS can be dull and uneventful. There are to few campus activities and events.
Solutions:
To implement an incentive program for clubs to encourage hosting and organizing campus events.
Work with the clubs to facilitate more campus activities.

FCQ
Problem: The FCQ results are not conveniently accessible to students, nor are they inquisitive enough on diversity issues.
Solutions:
Work to get the FCQ results posted online.
Add questions to the assessment regarding tolerance of diversity issues like political and religious beliefs.

Fees
Problem: There are many unnecessary student fee increases at UCCS.
Solution:
Veto any unnecessary student fee increases. Promote an attitude of fiscal accountability and responsibility within SGA.
